Spokane String Chamber Music Camp

Our 16th Season!


July 25 - 29, 2011  **  10:00am - 2:00pm

in String Quartets coached by professional faculty,
with varied days of masterclasses, private instruction,
music games and fun explorations sharing music and learning!

Camp Details

To Participate

Who:
-  32 Middle and High School string players  
(intermediate & advanced)

When:
-  July 25 thru 29, 2011 -- 10:00am-2:00pm
-  Weekdays only, Mon-Fri Final Concert Fri. July 29, 7:00pm


Where:
-  Rock of Ages Church
2131 Woodside Av, Spokane 99208 (Just east of Five Mile Rd, NW of Francis-Maple intersection)

Cost: $125 Tuition

-  Application Fee:  $50 - applied to Tuition (non-refundable)


Placement Audition

Dates: TBA

Times:  8 minutes each, 6:30 - 9:30pm

Place:  Gonzaga Univ. Music Bldg. (corner Boone & Lidgerwood)

Repertoire:

1.  Scales (D Maj, Bb Maj or A min)

2.  Short solo excerpt - your choice! (3 min)

3.  Sight Reading (rhythm is priority in a group!)

Participant/Music Assignments:  June 20 
It is our intent to place all auditionees in ensembles.  The only instance for non-acceptance is in the unlikely event that no ensemble assignment is possible, in which case the application fee will be refunded in full, with sincere apologies!


 1.  Download Application Form.

2.  Call for Placement Audition Time.

3.  Mail Application with $50 Fee by April 10
or Bring to Placement Audition.

4.  Ensemble assignments and music will be mailed July 1, 2011.

5.  Practice your music and get in touch with your ensemble members!

-  To keep tuition low, no meals or snacks are provided
